United Paramount Network (UPN) was a television network from 1995 to 2006. It was originally owned by Viacom/Paramount and Chris-Craft Industries, and was later owned by CBS Television. In 2006, it merged with the Time Warner-owned network, The WB, and became The CW.
From 1999 to 2001, UPN aired Recess on Sunday mornings, weekday mornings, and weekday afternoons as part of Disney's One Too. In areas where UPN wasn't availible, the block would be syndicated. Season 4 and Season 6 debuted on the network, and UPN also aired repeats of previous seasons which premiered on ABC. Reruns continued until 2003 when Disney's contract with UPN ended.
