Lost Leader is the fifth and last episode of the sixth season of Recess which was first broadcast on November 5, 2001. This is also the last episode of Recess.

• This is the final time Andrew Lawrence plays the voice of T.J.
• The episode is very similar to season one's "I Will Kick No More Forever", with one character feeling inferior to what he does and gives up. In this case, it was T.J. instead of Vince.
• Though the episode premiered on November 5, 2001, some syndication markets didn't air it until November 21st.
• This episode was paired up with "League of Randalls" outside the US.
